MODFurnace XP Storage is a lightweight mod addressing the pre-1.13 Minecraft behavior where furnaces did not store XP. In earlier versions, XP was granted upon manual extraction of smelted items, not when the furnace was broken or items were funneled out by a hopper. This mod backports the post-1.13 functionality, allowing furnaces to store XP from smelting directly within the block, meaning breaking a furnace will release XP orbs, and XP remains even when items are funneled out.
