Privacy Policy
How information may be processed when you browse StartMod or contact us.
Information involved in browsing
Browsing public project pages does not require a public user account. Requests to the website and its service providers may include your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page and request time. This information can be used to deliver pages, maintain reliability and protect against misuse. Search terms may appear in page URLs.
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, investigate corrections or rights requests, and keep records needed to handle the issue. Do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
Cookies and browser storage
Administrative sign-in uses a session cookie. Browser storage may also remember interface preferences, such as dismissing an advertisement. External advertising services may use their own cookies or similar technologies when their content is loaded. You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some features.
Hosting, advertisements and external content
Cloudflare provides hosting and delivery services. Advertising integrations may include MGID and Adsterra. When loaded, these services may receive technical identifiers and interaction information under their own privacy policies. Images or embedded content loaded from an external host also cause your browser to contact that host. We do not control the data handling of a site you visit through an external link.
Retention and choices
We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and any related obligations. Technical logs and advertising data are subject to the relevant provider’s settings and retention policies. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we control. Email us to make a request; we may need information to verify and locate the relevant records.
