MODCobblemon: Research Tasks is a mod that introduces research tasks for each of the 1025 Pokémon, with 5-8 tasks assigned per Pokémon. It provides a default set of tasks and rewards that are playable immediately upon installation in both single-player worlds and on servers. Players receive a Research Book when they first enter a world, which can also be crafted. The mod includes specific tasks, such as evolving a Pokémon, defeating other Pokémon, reaching a certain friendship level, leveling up a Pokémon, fishing, and riding a Pokémon for a specified distance.

The modpack is not easy and explicitly states there is nothing vanilla-like about it. There is no Tacz integration. It is possible to prevent zombies from breaking blocks by reverting to the original Cursed Walking.
