VisualOres Mod 1.12.2
MODVisualOres provides various overlay displays for map modifications. Its specific purpose is to visualize discovered ore veins, underground fluid fields, excavator veins, aura/flux levels, starlight concentration levels, and fluid veins. Discovering ore veins involves picking up surface rocks, right-clicking ore blocks, or using an electric prospector in ore mode. Underground fluid fields are discovered using an electric prospector in fluid mode. Excavator veins are added by picking up a core sample. Aura/flux levels are mapped by holding a thaumometer, starlight concentration by holding a fosic resonator, and fluid veins by holding an ichosic resonator as particle effects spawn.

The mod integrates with Journeymap and Xaero's Minimap and World Map. Overlays can be toggled via a world map button or an in-game keybind, which is unbound by default. The location and order of these buttons are customizable in the configuration; reversing button order does not require a Minecraft restart, but modifying the order list does. Journeymap users can place buttons next to main map types or in a separate toolbar. Xaero's World Map users can place buttons anywhere. Sharing prospection data requires VisualOres on the server and both clients. Required dependencies for this mod are CodeChickenLib, MixinBooter, and GTCEU version 2.7.3.
