Upgrader items Mod 1.20.1–26.3
MODThe "Upgrader items" mod introduces a single item called the Upgrader. Right-clicking the Upgrader opens a wheel interface. Users place an item into the left slot and select a desired outcome from a list on the right. The mod then calculates the success odds, which are capped between 0.1% and 90%. If a marker on the wheel stops within a designated gold zone after activation, the original item transforms into the chosen item; otherwise, the original item is lost. The roll for the outcome is processed server-side, ensuring security in multiplayer environments.

The value of items is not manually set but derived from their recipes across various crafting stations, including crafting tables, furnaces, blast furnaces, smokers, campfires, stonecutters, and smithing tables, tracing back to raw materials. This automated pricing system extends to modded items that have recipes, requiring no compatibility patches. Damaged tools are valued proportionally to their remaining durability. Items without any recipe are priced based on rarity. Items whose value is entirely dependent on NBT data, such as spawn eggs, potions, and enchanted books, are excluded from this system. The Upgrader itself is crafted from 4 gold ingots, 4 diamonds, and an anvil.
