Underwater Rails Mod 1.12.2–1.18.1

MOD

Underwater Rails introduces two rail types to the game: Basic Underwater Rail and Advanced Underwater Rail. The Basic Underwater Rail can be placed underwater but does not prevent the player from drowning. The Advanced Underwater Rail also allows underwater placement and prevents drowning while a player is in a minecart on the rail, additionally disabling underwater fog. For version 1.18.1, only the Advanced Underwater Rail (simply named "Underwater rails") is available, as vanilla rails can be placed underwater in that version. Both rail types come in standard, powered, detector, and activator variants.

This mod is currently supported for Minecraft versions 1.16.5 and 1.18.1, with 1.18.1 receiving priority. For Forge versions 2.3.0 and up, Architectury is required. All Fabric versions also require Architectury. The Fabric version currently does not disable or change underwater fog. Advanced underwater rails are only modeled for standard and curved orientations; slopes will use the default raised rail model but still function as underwater rails. The mod is licensed under the MIT License.
