MODTree Tap introduces atmospheric forestry extraction mechanics to Minecraft by allowing players to harvest natural sap and liquids directly from living trees. Players attach a crafted wooden spigot onto tree trunks and hang a bucket underneath to slowly collect accumulating fluids from surrounding timber.

Designed as a flexible, data-driven framework for modpack authors, the mod allows custom recipes to govern which trees produce specific liquids—such as resin, latex, maple syrup, or medicinal sap. It operates cleanly with vanilla containers as well as modded vessels like TerraFirmaCraft wooden buckets.
