Time Shall Not Pass! (1.12.2 & 1.16.5) Mod 1.12.2–1.16.5

MOD

Time Shall Not Pass! (1.12.2 & 1.16.5) is a server-side only mod designed to control various world aspects when no players are online. Its primary purpose is to prevent the daylight cycle from progressing until a player connects, which can be crucial for mods and modpacks that link game difficulty or other factors to in-game time. As it's server-side only, vanilla clients can connect without issues. The mod offers several modules, each configurable to disable specific elements when players are offline.

These modules include disabling the daylight cycle, random ticks (like crop growth), loaded tick-able tile entities (including machines), fire ticks (preventing spread and decay), and the weather cycle. Each module can be individually enabled or disabled in the config. Additionally, there is a config option to exclude specific players by their name and UUID; excluded players will not toggle enabled modules when they connect to the server. The mod also provides in-game commands requiring permission level 4 to manage these settings and excluded players.
