TheOvergrowth Mod 1.19.2–1.21.10
MODTheOvergrowth introduces time progression to the game world. This mod enables environmental changes such as grass, flowers, and ferns slowly growing on existing grass. Underwater plants spread, and blocks adjacent to water can transform into mossy variations. Spiders generate webs on certain blocks, and torches will eventually break. Coastal areas composed of sand, gravel, and dirt may erode due to the sea. Mushrooms can grow in humid locations, and farmland has a chance to decline over time. Furthermore, lava not surrounded by other lava can dry out, and it can also damage or consume nearby blocks. Nylium spreads on netherrack exposed to air, and entities walking frequently in an area will create paths.

Additional features include the eventual extinguishing of coal campfires and the drying out of mud when it is not raining or lacking adjacent mud or water. Conversely, dirt can convert into mud during rainfall. The mod also allows for the rare chance of animals spawning even after world generation. The mod description states that it was designed to have the lowest possible performance impact.
