The Undergarden transports players into a perilous subterranean dimension located deep below the bedrock of the Overworld. In this lightless realm, strange glowing flora has adapted to thrive in pitch darkness, while bizarre indigenous fauna contends with the hostile, invading Rotspawn pouring from a chaotic abyss.
To access the dimension, players construct a stone or deepslate brick portal frame and ignite it with a crafted Catalyst. The world features fifteen distinct subterranean biomes, unique harvestable ores with intrinsic weapon attributes, custom potion effects, atmospheric soundtrack recordings, and dangerous dungeon structures.
