MODTax' Dragon Legend is a Minecraft Forge modification focused on introducing dragon-themed endgame equipment. It adds two new smithing templates to craft Dragon Skin equipment from Diamond items, and then Dragon equipment from Dragon Skin. Players can obtain a Dragon Scale by slaying the Ender Dragon, and a Dragon Skin Template along with a Dragon Egg from the Enderlord. Eating cooked Dragon Flesh, known as Dragon Steak, provides nutritional benefits, while consuming uncooked Dragon Flesh causes a poison effect. The mod also includes a new Dragon Elytra, a Music Disc with a unique track dropped by Endermen with a 10% chance, and a painting.

The modification introduces special attributes for its tools and armor. For instance, the Dragon Skin Sword has 30 Enchantability, 9 Damage, and 2222 Durability, while the Dragon Sword features 33 Enchantability, 11 Damage, and 3333 Durability. Dragon Skin Helmets and other armor pieces provide 40 Damage Absorb and 0.2 Knockback resistance, with Dragon armor offering higher statistics. For emissive textures and glowing tool and armor parts, the MoreMcmeta mod and the Emissive Textures plugin are required.
