MODBats Galore introduces numerous unique bat variations into the game, originating from Mycelium Network's 2023 Spooky Jam. Most of these bats can be located within the new Spooky Oak biome, an orangish overworld environment. When killed, each bat yields a specific type of candy that can be consumed, with effects that may not always be beneficial.

The mod also includes a special bat, the Void Bat, which does not naturally spawn. Interacting with the Void Bat transports the player to the End, similar to an ender portal. Within the Spooky Oak biome, players might discover the Altar of Turmoil structure, featuring four pedestals. Four distinct core types, dropped by specific bats, can be placed on these pedestals to trigger an event. Versions of the mod are available for both Forge and Fabric.
