Sophisticated JEI Index Mod 1.20.1–26.1.2
MODThe Sophisticated JEI Index mod introduces a JEI Index Upgrade specifically for Sophisticated Backpacks. This upgrade allows JEI recipe transfer to pull ingredients from equipped backpacks that have the upgrade enabled, in addition to the player's inventory. The mod is compatible with native JEI recipe transfer and utilizes enabled backpacks as additional ingredient sources, following the backpack selection order. It also supports crafting terminals from mods such as AE2, Refined Storage, Tom's Storage, and Beyond Dimensions, prioritizing ingredients from the network, then player inventory, and finally enabled backpacks. Shift-click max transfer and JEI complete-set semantics are supported.

This mod is also compatible with EMI recipe fill and recipe tree quick-craft. For full EMI functionality in multiplayer, EMI must be present on the server. A common configuration option allows limiting the number of enabled backpacks scanned per player, with 0 indicating no limit. To use this mod, a Sophisticated Backpack must be equipped in a supported slot, and a JEI Index Upgrade must be placed within that backpack. Nested backpacks are not supported as ingredient sources.
