SLM: Codex Mod 1.20.1–1.21.1
MODSLM: Codex introduces a Codex system to enhance how items are displayed by providing detailed, organized, in-game information. It supports items, weapons, armor, and curios, with each able to include a complete Codex entry. These entries can feature passives, skills, descriptions, lore, attributes, and stats, all presented through a clean, tab-based interface. The system is divided into sections for weapons, armor, curios, and items, each with specialized layouts and data handling. It also integrates innate skills and can display and redirect skills from compatible systems like Epic Fight, offering a unified view of abilities tied to equipment.

The Codex system allows users to define custom entries for items using JSON. Translation keys or raw text can be used for any visible field, enabling multi-language support or quick definitions. Common fields include item name, name color, and a main description which can replace the default tooltip. Entries for passive and active skills are optional and will not appear if not included. Specific JSON paths and fields are available for weapons, items, armor, and curios, allowing for customization of item type, rendered size, position, and rotation. Armor entries support piece type and rendering alignment, while curios specify the equipment slot.
