Revamp Mod 1.7.10

MOD

Revamp is a game modification compatible with SMP and LAN play, focusing on enhancements to mob and villager behaviors. It makes mobs visible and active at greater distances, causing them to wander more frequently. Mobs will not target invisible players. Villagers receive several improvements, including an increased path-finding range from 16 to 40 blocks, the ability to have name tags and leads applied to them, or be tempted with an emerald. They also exhibit better door usage, spread out in larger houses, and can establish underground homes under specific conditions.

Villagers in Revamp will not open doors for zombies and can detect them without line-of-sight. They are also capable of climbing ladders, albeit clumsily. Zombie path-finding range is reduced to 30 blocks to address performance issues near villages at night. The mod also allows for twins to be born to villagers and includes settings for doors-per-villager and villager-per-Iron Golem ratios, with the first golem requiring 21 doors to spawn. The mod is highly configurable via Revamp.cfg and can be memory-intensive with long-distance pathfinding.
