Re:Skin Mod 1.12.2–1.20.1

MOD

Re:Skin is a game modification focused on custom character textures. It allows users to set skins using a URL, with commands such as /setskin (url) or /setskin (url) (player). The mod also supports switching between 'slim' and 'default' models via /setmodel. Users can reset their skin to vanilla with /setskin reset and clear the skin cache using /clearskincache. The mod supports various skin resolutions, provided they maintain the same ratio as default skins (64x64 or 32x64) and have dimensions that are powers of 2.

A key feature of Re:Skin is its skin server whitelist, which can be modified to enhance user privacy. If using Fabric, the Fabric API is required. For versions 2.5.0 and above, SekCLib is explicitly required for network communication of skins. The mod will only affect textures, not models, and it will not receive support for pirated Minecraft instances. The project is open-source under the MIT license, allowing for community forks and maintenance.
