PVP Flagging Mod 1.20.1–26.1.2

MOD

PVP Flagging allows players to opt into or out of player-versus-player combat. For PVP to occur, both players must be flagged. Admins can establish designated PVP areas that automatically flag players upon entry, providing a warning as they approach. A nametag overlay serves as a visible indicator for PVP status. Unflagging is not instantaneous, taking 15 seconds, a duration that is configurable. If a player deals or receives damage during this waiting period, or logs out, the unflag request is cancelled. The mod respects existing Minecraft team settings.

The mod requires pvp=true in Minecraft's server.properties for its flagging system to function, which is the default setting. For single-player open-to-LAN worlds, no setup is needed. Commands include /pvpFlag to toggle, set, or check PVP status, and /pvpZone for admins to manage PVP zones and their warning area sizes. Configurable options include player login and respawn PVP states (PRESERVE, FLAG, UNFLAG), unflag wait time in ticks, PVP zone bounds check frequency, and HUD indicator settings such as anchor point, offsets, and enablement.
