The mod features an extensive underground system with new stones, soils, and minerals. A new mining method called crushing allows players to extract additional materials from stone and ore blocks using hammers, which can also be automated with pistons. This system has unlimited outputs, with most blocks having multiple outputs. Custom alloy tools and components are available, utilizing a percentage-based system where elemental composition impacts tool function. Other mechanics include tree tapping for fluids and distilling air for gasses. The mod also provides thousands of blocks for functional or decorative uses, new recipe types for customization via datapacks, and custom JEI recipe GUIs to visualize processes.
