Pick Block Plus Mod 1.7.10–1.12
MODPick Block Plus is a lightweight, client-side mod that enhances the vanilla pick block function. Its primary purpose is to improve how blocks, their broken states, and entity spawn eggs are moved to the hotbar. For instance, if a block is in your inventory but not your hotbar, using the pick block keybind will move it to your selected hotbar slot. Similarly, if you lack a specific block but possess its "broken state," like cobblestone from stone, that item will be moved to the hotbar.

Additional features include moving the most efficient tool for a block to the hotbar when sneaking and using the keybind. When targeting an entity while sneaking, the item with the highest attack damage in your inventory, or the one with higher attack speed if damage is equal, will be moved. Double-tapping the keybind while sneaking replicates the non-sneaking behavior. In creative mode, the keybind places the corresponding block or spawn egg directly into the selected hotbar slot.
