MODThe Pack It Up! mod introduces a backpack system designed around diverse storage options rather than a linear progression in size. It includes basic packs with varying capacities, such as a "run of the mill pack" holding 2 rows, a "larger basic pack" with 4 rows, and a "high tier basic pack" storing 6 rows. Specialized backpacks are also available, each tailored for specific item types and offering increased capacity for those items. These specialized packs are derived from the larger basic pack.

Specialized packs include an armorpack (small, medium, high tier) worn in the chest slot, providing armor and, for the high tier, armor toughness. Other specialized options are a blockpack for blocks, an orepack for ores and gems, an enderpack linking to an ender chest, a trashpack for voiding items, a plantpack for flora, a magicpack for enchanted items, a foodpack for consumables, and a toolpack for tools. To begin, players must craft a Pack Bench using planks and ladders, which then facilitates the creation of basic packs by combining a Frame and a Backpack Bag.
