Overpowered Inventory Mod 1.7.10–1.12.2
MODThe Overpowered Inventory mod, with version 2.0.0 being a complete rewrite, offers an expanded inventory system. It provides larger inventory sizes, with the default 'normal' size offering 375 slots (15 rows by 25 columns). It features dual hotbars, and allows unlocking additional features using experience points, with configurable experience costs. The mod introduces a standalone inventory screen, ensuring full compatibility with other mods. It stores data in specific world/player files, not NBT, and creates backup files for transfer or recovery. Players can open the inventory using a hotkey (B) or a button rendered above the vanilla inventory.

This mod includes specialized features such as Sort, Deposit, and Merge filter buttons. It offers three different inventory sizes, including a 'large' option of 16x28 slots, configurable via the powerinventory.cfg file. If the inventory screen is too large, users can adjust their GUI scale to NORMAL or larger, or set is_large=false in the config file. For version 2.0.0, which is for Minecraft 1.8, upgrading from older versions requires deleting existing configurations and emptying the player's inventory into chests to prevent loss, as the old inventory structure is removed.
