MODOre Growth introduces a new ore growth mechanic. This system involves crystals that grow on a base, specifically "minecraft:pumpkin". The crystals have four growth stages. There is a 20% chance for a crystal to spawn when its base receives a random tick, and a 30% chance for a crystal to grow when it receives a random tick.

Crystals in this mod can provide drops. At stage 4, there is a 90% chance to obtain two "minecraft:pumpkin_pie" items. Additionally, between stages 1 and 3, there is a 30% chance to obtain items from the "minecraft:blocks/short_grass" loot table.
