MOD

Omni Ocular is a mod designed to display player-defined NBT information on the Waila HUD. It serves mod testers and players interested in extensive numerical data. This mod is a re-engineered successor to WailaNBT, offering enhanced features. Configuration files are in XML format, located in the minecraft/config/OmniOcular folder, and can include JavaScript. Pre-configured files are provided. It includes commands like "/oor" to reload configurations and "/ooe" or "/oon" to show registry names for entities or held items, respectively. These commands can be used by OPs in multiplayer for server-side reloads and config distribution.

Omni Ocular requires Not Enough Items and Waila to be installed alongside it on both the client and server sides. It is highly recommended to use In-Game NBTEdit (1.7.10 version) to examine NBT data structures for customizing displayed information. The mod uses XML files with JavaScript for configuration, defining what NBT data to show for Tile Entities, Entities, and Items based on regular expression matching of their IDs. Scripts within the config files run during loading and can display dynamic information. Config files with a .xml extension in the OmniOcular folder are loaded, ignoring subfolders. Client-side configurations are overridden by server-side configurations in multiplayer environments.
