Users can, however, allow specific update checks. This is done by adding the URL host of desired updates to a whitelist file named nu-whitelist.txt, located in the Minecraft folder. Each host should be on a separate line within this file. The default whitelist includes hosts such as minecraft.net, mojang.com, skin.prinzeugen.net, fleey.org, and www.skinme.cc. This mod can be used in modpacks and reposted to other websites, provided credit information and a link to its page are maintained if redistributed. It cannot be reposted to MCBBS.NET or any affiliated sites.
