MyWorldGen Mod 1.6.2–1.9

MOD

MyWorldGen is a Minecraft mod that changes world generation by allowing users to populate their worlds with custom structures. Instead of adding new biomes or hard-coded structures, it uses schematic files placed into the .minecraft/worldgen folder. These schematics then appear in single-player worlds and can also be used on servers for custom community world generation. The mod includes a "Schematic save wand" to create schematics from builds in a creative world, using a rectangular selection method for saving to the correct directory. It also provides a load wand for placing schematics to verify saves.

The mod includes a "Schematic save wand" to create schematics from builds in a creative world, using a rectangular selection method for saving to the correct directory. The mod introduces special anchor blocks to control structure placement, such as ground, air, stone, lava, water, wood, dirt, sand, leaves, and inventory anchors, which dictate conditions for a structure to appear in the world. Ignore blocks preserve existing world blocks within a schematic's region. MyWorldGen is compatible with standard MCEdit/WorldEdit schematic files and supports optional NBT tags like randomWeight for spawn likelihood, chestType for loot, excludeBiomes or onlyIncludeBiomes for biome generation control, lockRotation to prevent rotation, generateSpawners for mob spawners, fuzzyMatching for alternate placement, and terrainSmoothing for environmental adjustments. It was built on 1.7.10 and should work with 1.7.2.
