myLoot Mod 1.18–1.20.1

MOD

The myLoot mod replaces world-generated loot containers like chests and barrels with a special variant that provides instanced loot per player. This allows each player to access unique loot from any container, even if others have already looted it. It also enables players in single-player to visually identify containers they have previously opened, preventing re-looting of areas. The replacement functionality extends to both vanilla and modded structures, including dungeons, villages, strongholds, and different dimensions. Specifically, it replaces loot chests (including double chests), loot barrels, chest Minecarts, and Shulker Boxes.

myLoot containers change in appearance client-side once opened by a player. Breaking a myLoot container by default drops only the instanced loot of the player who broke it, plus the container item, but players are warned about affecting others. Sneaking while breaking allows a player to proceed. Modded items and loot containers are intended to work with myLoot. Crafting recipes exist for a myLoot Chest, a myLoot Chest Minecart, and a myLoot Shulker Box, which retains instanced inventories when broken and re-placed. This mod requires no stated dependencies.
