ModListMemory Mod 1.20–26.2

MOD

ModListMemory aims to enhance mod list navigation by remembering user interactions and display settings. Its primary purpose is to move recently accessed mods to the top of the list or to recall the user's scroll position. This mod functions by recording which mods are opened and subsequently repositioning them to the top of the display. Additionally, it saves the scrollbar's position and restores it when the mod list is reopened, providing a consistent view.

The mod also includes a pinning feature, allowing users to hold a modifier key while clicking a mod to pin it to the top. Pinned mods can be reordered by holding the same modifier key and clicking, or unpinned by holding a different modifier key while clicking. For persistence, ModListMemory saves its memory to a configuration file, ensuring that settings are retained across game restarts. It also saves memory whenever a mod is opened from the list, rather than just upon quitting, which helps preserve data even if the game crashes. This mod requires ModMenu and Fabric API on Fabric, or Better Modlist on NeoForge, and Cloth Config API for configuration.
