Mobs Attempt Parkour Mod 1.16–1.20.2

MOD

Mobs Attempt Parkour adds a simple jumping AI to several mobs, enabling them to clear obstacles and gaps. Mobs with this ability include Zombies, Zombie Villagers, Zombified Piglins, Silverfish, Endermites, Endermen, Wither Skeletons, Skeletons, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Illagers, Witches, Iron Golems, and Creepers. The AI aims for vanilla-like jumping, meaning slower mobs have limited jump distances, such as Zombies only jumping one block. The AI does not perform complex pathfinding, so it cannot manage a series of jumps and may fail at very high mob speeds or high jumps.

The mod is configurable via a JSON file where users can add mobs by their ID and assign a priority value. This priority dictates the jumping AI's precedence over other mob AIs; a lower value generally prevents it from being overridden and might override other AIs. Determining the precise impact of priority often requires examining the entity's source code, though a low priority usually functions well. This Fabric mod requires Fabric Kotlin and Fabric API to be installed.
