MODSmeltery IO is an addon for Tinkers Construct focused on smeltery fuel and casting. It introduces a Fuel Controller, which requires solid fuel to heat the smeltery to higher temperatures than liquid fuels alone, though liquid fuels are still necessary for smeltery operation. The heating ratio can be increased using Speed Upgrades.

The mod also includes a Casting Machine that uses snowballs as fuel to accelerate the casting process. Features of the Casting Machine include control via a Redstone Signal, increased output capacity, and the ability to switch between Casts and Basin Mode with an upgrade. Casting automation is possible by unlocking the cast and upgrade slots, allowing insertion and extraction. Extraction of items is only permitted when the tank is empty and the machine is idle.
