MODMaLiLib (Forge) is an unofficial and unsupported Forge port of the malilib mod originally for Fabric. Its purpose is to provide a functional, albeit temporary, version for users who require a Forge compatible malilib. This port does not receive bug fixes or new features and will not until official Forge ports are developed. Ownership of the project was transferred to masa/masady on May 7, 2022, for future official Forge uploads.

The official Forge ports will be created once significant code rewrites and refactoring are complete, starting with the 1.12.2 LiteLoader branch. This process involves extensive work on malilib and other client mods, followed by new feature development and improvements. After Fabric branches receive updates from the refactored code, Forge ports will then be derived from those Fabric versions. A known issue with the current early Forge ports is that hotkey configurations may not apply correctly upon closing the config menu; logging out of and back into the world is most likely required for hotkey changes to take effect.
