Players begin by scanning deep underground strata beneath bedrock using the Core Sample Drill, after which towering multiblock Pumpjacks can be erected to extract crude oil reservoirs to the surface.

Crude oil is then processed inside the massive Distillation Tower multiblock, cracking the liquid into valuable fuels and chemical fractions including Diesel, Gasoline, Lubricant, and Bitumen. The refined products power portable generators, motorboats, and heavy industrial machinery, while bitumen serves as the essential binder for paving asphalt roads.
