MODImmersive Gateways introduces 25 unique, naturally generated portals scattered across the Overworld. These long-forgotten gateways are uncraftable and unmovable, requiring players to find them through exploration. Each gateway links to another, enabling fast travel and encouraging world development. Designed to be atmospheric and biome-specific, they blend naturally into their environment, providing an immersive way to explore without GUIs or technology progression.

The mod's purpose is to allow non-linear world exploration through these ancient, magical anchors. The gateways are remnants of an age before player-built obsidian frames, binding distant lands. They feature animations and aim to feel like a natural part of the game world. Future updates plan to include more biomes, the underground, and the Nether. While always uncraftable in survival, tools to create them will be available in the creative menu for mapmakers and modpack creators.
