MOD"Him - Herobrine" is a horror and trolling modification that enables Herobrine to non-destructively haunt game worlds and servers. It features passive haunting, where Herobrine spawns around players in various ways, and commands to trigger specific apparitions manually. The mod includes four apparition types that occur randomly approximately every three minutes: Watch, Scare, Jumpscare, and Spike. Additionally, a "Chase Mode" can activate, speeding up apparitions. Players must collect resources and perform a banishment ritual using a crafted Notch Apple to free their world from Herobrine.

The Notch Apple, a mythic item, is crafted with an apple, golden nuggets, diamond blocks, a dragon head, and a nether star. To banish Herobrine, the Notch Apple must be burned by throwing it into a netherrack fire. Alternatively, players can use commands such as /haunt to enable/disable Herobrine spawning, /hauntfrequency to set the time between scares, and /call, /watch, /scare, /jumpscare, or /spike to trigger specific apparitions for players. The /schizo command enables or disables creepy footsteps and whisper sounds. For versions before 3.0, The Caller block was used to enable Herobrine spawns.
