Glass Shards Mod 1.7.10–1.12.1
MODThis mod addresses how glass behaves in Minecraft. Its purpose is to make broken glass blocks and panes drop glass shards. These shards can be smelted in a furnace to recover glass, offering a method to convert panes back into blocks with some loss. Stained glass and panes will drop stained glass shards. Uncolored glass shards can be dyed, and color can be removed from glass shards using gunpowder.

The mod allows configuration of the drop probability for shards, with panes dropping fewer shards than blocks. The features for dyeing and decolorizing shards are also configurable. Additionally, glass shards can be crafted into a sword, which deals iron-level attack damage but has low durability. Configured shard dropping is compatible with glass from Chisel, MineFactory Reloaded, Tinkers Construct, and EnderIO.
