Giacomo's Bookshelf Mod 1.11.2–1.20.4

MOD

Giacomo's Bookshelf introduces a new block, Giacomo's Bookshelf, designed as a container for books, maps, and paper. This bookshelf also serves as a power source for the enchantment table. Players can craft 11 versions, each corresponding to a different wood type. When crafted and placed, the bookshelf is empty, allowing items to be stored within. These bookshelves can be broken by hand, or faster with an axe, always dropping their stored items. If harvested with a Silk Touch enchantment, the bookshelf drops itself and retains its contents, which are accessible upon re-placement. Items stored within a bookshelf are listed as properties when the bookshelf is held.

The enchantment power provided by Giacomo's Bookshelf varies based on its contents. Storing fewer than three books per bookshelf reduces power, while storing more than three books increases it. A single Giacomo's Bookshelf storing 45 books can collectively provide 30 levels of enchantment power, an amount that would otherwise require 15 normal bookshelves crafted with 45 books. There are no explicit requirements mentioned for this mod beyond its inherent functionality.
