MODFright's Delight introduces a new culinary system where materials from mobs become ingredients for various food and beverage items. The mod focuses on crafting creations that blend horror, whimsy, and a Minecraft-inspired essence. It adds 56 new food items and a variety of drinks, sweets, syrups, lollipops, ring candies, pies, and feasts such as Punch Bowls. The mod also includes new Berry Bushes, Crates for various mob drops, and Candy Baskets.

The mod incorporates seven new status effects. Five of these are harmful: Hysteria, Chills, Slime Walk, Cobwebbed, and Infected, which provide minor inconveniences or psychological horror elements. Two beneficial effects, Undead Hunger and Fortified Mind, offer immunity to specific negative effects like food poisoning, infected, hysteria, and chills. Fright's Delight supports Minecraft versions 1.20-1.22.5 for Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric loaders.
