FastWorkbench improves crafting performance and responsiveness by caching recently used recipes and eliminating redundant validation checks during crafting operations. It resolves momentary game freezes caused when shift-click crafting full stacks in large modpacks.
By checking recipes only when items in the crafting grid actually change rather than on every tick, it drastically reduces server calculation overhead. The mod integrates cleanly into vanilla and modded crafting stations without altering recipe outputs.
