Fast Leaf Decay speeds up the natural despawning of tree foliage after the trunk logs have been harvested. Operating smoothly on the server side, it eliminates unsightly floating leaves in approximately five seconds without causing client lag.
Rather than breaking every leaf block simultaneously in a single freezing spike, the mod spreads the decay checks over a few rapid ticks following vanilla algorithms. It requires no complex configuration and works seamlessly in singleplayer and multiplayer servers.
