EnchantmentLevelBreak Mod 1.12.2–26.3
MODEnchantmentLevelBreak is a mod designed to modify enchantment mechanics. Its primary purpose is to allow enchantment levels to exceed the vanilla cap of 255, reaching up to 2,147,483,647. The mod provides configuration options to display enchantment levels using Roman numerals via "useRomanNumerals." It can enable enchanting any item using an anvil in survival mode when "allowAnyEnchantment" is true. Additionally, it offers two methods for enchantment level stacking: "allowVanillaLevelStacking" (No.1, 5+5=6) and "allowLevelStacking" (No.2, 5+5=10). If both are true, No.2 is used; if both are false, the original Minecraft mechanism applies. The mod also allows enchanting items using the /cenchant command for all items or the vanilla /enchant command for specific items.

This mod enables switching anvil enchantment of any items and the stacking mechanism of anvil enchantment levels through its configuration. It also permits setting a maximum enchantment level. While it breaks the original 255 limit, the enchantment table's item synthesis level remains unchanged. If the final enchantment level exceeds 2,147,483,647, it will default to level 1. The Fabric version is currently unavailable. Forge 1.20.1 uses config version 1.5, while NeoForge 1.21+ uses version 1.6. A warning states that this mod may alter gameplay.
