MODThe Dracolotl mod allows players to hatch the Ender Dragon egg into a Dracolotl. This creature is an apex predator that bonds to the player upon summoning, following them or remaining at home. To summon a Dracolotl, players must construct a three-block-tall pillar with the dragon egg on top. Obsidian or Bedrock must be placed one block away from each face of the pillar, with an end crystal placed on top of each of these blocks. Interacting with the Dragon Egg then hatches it. The mod requires GeckoLib.

Wild Dracolotls, spawned via a bucket, spawn egg, or commands, can be tamed using Eyes of Ender. Dracolotls share characteristics with Axolotls, including underwater breathing and playing dead to avoid hostile mobs. Upon recovery, they grant themselves and their owner the Strength effect. These creatures can also fly, and their owners can obtain Dragon's Breath by interacting with them using a bottle. Feeding a Dracolotl a Chorus Flower offers a slim chance of it producing a new Dragon Egg. Naming a Dracolotl 'Hellkite' applies a special 'Red Dragon' skin.
