Don't Drop It! Mod 1.15.2–1.19.2
MOD"Don't Drop It!" introduces two systems designed to prevent accidental item drops. The first is a drop delay system, requiring the "drop" key to be held for a configurable duration. The second is a favorites system, which designates specific items that cannot be dropped unless an additional modifier key is held. Items can be marked as favorites based on their type, enchantments, or assigned tags. Both systems can be individually enabled or disabled.

The mod also prevents item drops when interacting with screens, specifically when clicking outside a screen (affecting favorite items by default) and when closing a screen (affecting all items by default). These screen-related drop preventions are configurable to apply to all items, only favorite items, or be entirely disabled. Configuration is accessible via Mod Menu or by editing the config/dontdropit.json5 file. The mod is client-side only and has no server-side functionality.
