MODChisels & Bytes is an addon for Chisels & Bits that enables the export of Chisels & Bits blocks or designs as a descriptive file. These files are formatted for the OpenComputers 3D printer and its print3d program, available via oppm. The mod functions client-side only and requires Java 8. It allows for the limited porting of creations to Minecraft 1.7.10, as the OpenComputers 3D printer is available in that version. To use it, a Chisels & Bits block is held, and pressing the default key copies the script to the clipboard.

The mod's exported 3D prints offer features not present in standard Chisels & Bits blocks. These include the ability to have two states, emulating doors, switches, or buttons, and the capacity to emit light regardless of material. Collision can also be set for each state. Version 0.4 added limited fluid support, allowing toggling between still and flowing textures, though fluids will not be semi-transparent. Additionally, if the source C&B block contains light-emitting bits, the descriptive file will reflect this. Designs are supported for export, but their rotation is ignored.
