Charset Storage - Barrels Mod 1.12.2
MODCharset Storage Barrels is a Charset module that introduces barrels for item storage. Each barrel can hold 64 stacks of items. Items can be extracted from the bottom and inserted from the top, or by right-clicking or left-clicking the front face. The mod also supports unloading items from inventory items such as Backpacks or Canvas Bags. Upgrades include Sticky Barrels, which ensure at least one item remains when automated, acting as a filter; Hopping Barrels, which combine barrel and hopper functionality; and Silky Barrels, which retain their contents when broken with a Silk Touch Axe (off by default if Charset Tweak Carry is present).

Additional features provided are Infinite Barrels for creative mode, and Barrel Carts, which are Minecarts containing barrels, crafted by combining a barrel with a minecart. Barrels can be crafted from any modded wood, retaining its texture and coloring. Compatibility with Chisels and Bits allows bits to stack up to 512 per stack, configurable in Chisels and Bits' configuration file. The mod explicitly states that it requires CharsetLib for operation. A rotation tool, such as a Wrench, is beneficial for use with this mod.
