For unsupported launchers, or if present, a configuration file from Better Compatibility Checker (bcc.json) takes precedence for retrieving the modpack name and version. Modpack authors can generate this file using the Better Compatibility Checker mod or create it manually. This mod helps creators troubleshoot player issues by providing essential system and modpack version information within logs.
