MODBountyBags is a mod that introduces a reward system with tiered loot bags dropped by hostile entities. There are five tiers of regular bags: Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary, with specific drop chances for each. Additionally, boss-exclusive bags are available from the Ender Dragon, Warden, and Wither, each containing unique, powerful loot like Elytra, Dragon Egg, Totems, Heart of the Sea, and Nether Stars. These boss drop chances are configurable, as are per-mob drop multipliers for Zombies, Skeletons, Creepers, Spiders, and Endermen.

The mod includes several features such as luck-based tier upgrades, where the Luck effect can improve a bag's tier upon opening. Biome drop bonuses mean mobs in the Nether and The End drop higher-tier bags more frequently. Lower-tier bags can be recycled in a crafting grid to upgrade them. The mod also offers dedicated loot tables for each regular bag tier, which are replaceable via datapacks, and allows for custom loot item lists defined directly in the config. A mob whitelist mode is available, and bags can be opened by right-clicking them from the hand. It supports multiplayer and features a configurable stack size and debug logging mode.
