Backported Flora Mod 1.12.2
MODBackported Flora is a mod for Minecraft version 1.12.2 that introduces various flowers and seaweed from newer versions of the game. Its specific purpose is to bring these flora elements into an older game version. Features include Lily of the Valley, a white forest flower; Cornflower, a blue plains flower; and Wither Rose, a black flower found in the Nether on soul sand or as a drop from Wither-killed creatures, applying a wither effect on touch. The mod also adds Seagrass, found in surface water bodies and either one or two blocks high; Kelp, which grows in oceans to a height of 8 to 16 blocks; Dried Kelp, a quick-eat food item that can be crafted into fuel blocks; and Kelp Soup, a non-vanilla item crafted from kelp and a bowl that restores three hunger chunks.

The mod integrates with other modifications, allowing Quark's dyes to be made from the new flowers if Quark's dye feature is enabled. Harvestcraft can use kelp as a seaweed replacement because it is oredicted as cropSeaweed. All features introduced by Backported Flora can be disabled via the configuration file. The mod requires Forgelin to function.
