AutoMessage Mod 1.19–26.1.2

MOD

AutoMessage is a game modification designed to add an option for creating and sending messages automatically. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the sending of automatic messages for modpack creators and multiplayer server owners. The mod introduces a configuration file that players can modify to customize message content, color, and links. Messages can be scheduled to send on various events, including a player's first join, every level join, death, or respawn. There are two message types: chat, which sends like a regular chat message, and overlay, which displays centered on the client above the action bar.

Messages are constructed using key names such as identifier, schedule, type, repeats, pack_intro, link, and text. Some key names are optional; for instance, if 'link' is not present, no link is attached, and if 'repeats' or 'pack_intro' are absent, they default to false. The mod also allows configuration of message intervals, soft limits (messages per session), and hard limits (messages for the player's lifetime). Soft and hard limit values are tracked individually for separate worlds. The mod explicitly states incompatibility with LabyMod and other mods that extensively change player data.
