MODAcclaimed Origins is an addon for the Origins mod, designed for the Fabric mod loader. This addon introduces eight new origins into the game: Goblin, Rat, Fire Born, Desperate, Underling, Riptider, Night Dancer, and Obsidian Golem. Each origin features a unique set of abilities, advantages, and drawbacks, altering gameplay experiences. For example, the Goblin gains additional inventory slots and better villager deals but has less life and cannot interact with animals. The Fire Born is immune to fire damage, can breathe fire, and spawns in the Nether, but is hydrophobic and restricted to a carnivore diet.

The mod has specific requirements for operation. Acclaimed Origins explicitly requires both the Origins mod and Pehkui to function correctly. Some origins have additional unique mechanics; the Rat origin levels up by finding and consuming "Exotic Cheese," while the Desperate origin allows players to gain temporary hearts at the cost of natural health regeneration. The Underling origin grants darkvision and increased mining speed in lower elevations but is blinded by light and can only sleep at specific depths. The Riptider uses hunger for a forward boost and breathes underwater but takes increased fire damage.
