This mod, named "[Deprecated] Curios Compat Layer for Accessories," serves as a compatibility layer. Its specific purpose is to allow mods utilizing the Curios API to function within the Accessories Ecosystem. This mod acts as a wrapper for the Curios API, effectively replacing the need to install Curios itself.

For versions 1.21.1 and up, this mod is being superseded by the new Accessories Compat Layer, which performs the same function. A stated requirement for the newer version is to install Curios alongside the new mod. Users are advised to transfer any existing Curios data into their accessory inventory or eject it if issues arise.
