Path of the Ascended Modpack 1.20.1

Path of the Ascended is a high-fantasy action-adventure survival RPG experience set in the land of Indura. It features a custom-built skill tree with over 1,500 nodes, offering six major paths for character shaping: Bulwark, Blade, Marksman, Wind, Arcanist, and Mender. The modpack includes a story-driven progression system with over 500 quests documented in "The Journal of Kaelen" and an in-game guide, "The Induran Codex," which clarifies altered mechanics and progression systems. It incorporates 400+ mods with custom integration and tuning, and introduces 8 RPG classes, each with unique spells, weapons, and gear.

The modpack overhauls several core mechanics. Item durability is disabled, making equipment long-term investments, though powerful gear is restricted by RPG stat requirements. Health regeneration is reworked to occur slowly out of combat, emphasizing preparation and strategy with bandages, campfires, advanced potion brewing, magical items, spells, and lifesteal. A custom diet system rewards good eating with bonuses for maintaining four nutrition groups: Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, and Micronutrients. Enchanting is reimagined, with enchantments discovered through exploration and applied using anvils, with the enchanting table removed. Additionally, death results in the loss of all accumulated experience points, making XP Storage Books vital for travelers.
